On completion of the merger of Amoco Corporation with British Petroleum, George S. Spindler held the titles of Group Vice President for BPAmoco Corporation, plc, President for BPAmoco Corporation, and Senior Vice President for Amoco Corporation. A member of the Strategic Planning, Human Resource, and Crisis Management committees of Amoco Corporation. Frequent speaker at the Amoco Management Learning Center on various aspects of change management.
